Lithuanian City of London Club (LCLC) is a members-only non-profit organisation established in 2006 under the honorary patronage of HE Vygaudas Ušackas, then Lithuanian Ambassador to London. The members of LCLC are Lithuanian professionals from a wide array of careers, including finance, law, business consulting and academia, based in London. The Club facilitates social networking, sporting and charitable events as well as a wide array of topical discussion with business, political and other leaders from Lithuania and the UK to foster professional and intellectual interaction between Club members and Lithuanian society.

 

Raminta Dereškevi?i?t? is a solicitor in the European Regulatory group in the London office of K&L Gates LLP where she provides regular advice and advocacy in relation to EU energy, environment, and health as well as product safety legislation. Raminta has been involved in various initiatives promoting Lithuania over the years while living in the Netherlands, the US, Belgium and the UK. Raminta, with her team mate Donatas Vainalavi?ius, won the first ever project „Vision for Lithuania“ organized by „Atgimimas“ in 2007. Raminta completed her LLB in Vilnius, Lithuania, where she was awarded the Mykolas Romeris University Medal of Honour for Excellence in Academics and Extra curriculum two years in a row. Following her law studies in Lithuania, Raminta was awarded a Fulbright Scholarship to do her LLM in Georgetown University Law School, which she completed with honours. Raminta has lived in the UK since 2008 and has been a president of LCLC since 2013.
